Розглянуто метафоричні моделі реалізації концепту та його роль у формуванні американської національної ідентичності. На основі корпусного аналізу встановлено частотність різних компонентів концепту та їх контекстуальні зв'язки.; EN: The paper investigates the linguacultural concept of FRONTIER and its representation in the American linguistic worldview. The structure of the concept, its notional, figurative, and value components are analyzed. The key linguistic means of concept verbalization in American discourse are identified, its historical evolution and modern interpretation are studied. Metaphorical models of concept realization and its role in forming American national identity are examined. A. Abstract: UA: У роботі досліджено лексико–граматичні засоби вербалізації концепту КОХАННЯ на матеріалі сучасних англомовних пісень. Визначено ядро, зону, наближену до ядра, та периферію лексико–семантичного поля концепту КОХАННЯ. Здійснено етимологічний аналіз усіх лексем лексико–семантичного поля концепту КОХАННЯ. Описано особливості формування аудитивної компетенції у студентів у вищих навчальних закладах. Зроблено висновок, що аудіальна компетенція є необхідною для загального оволодіння мовою.; EN: This paper investigates the lexical and grammatical means of verbalising the concept of LOVE based on modern English–language songs. The core, near–core zone, and periphery of the lexical–semantic field of the concept of LOVE are defined. An etymological analysis of all lexemes within the lexical–semantic field of the concept of LOVE is conducted. The peculiarities of the formation of auditory competence in students of higher education institutions are described. Abstract: UA: У магістерській роботі «Формування компетентності перекладу сучасних ІТ-термінів з англійської мови на українську» досліджено структурні, семантичні та перекладацькі особливості англомовних ІТ- термінів. Актуальність роботи обумовлена стрімким розвитком інформаційних технологій, відсутністю уніфікованої термінології та необхідністю адаптації англомовних термінів до української мови. У роботі проаналізовано сучасний стан вивчення проблеми перекладу ІТ-лексики, визначено специфіку термінів у сфері ІТ, досліджено основні методи й прийоми їх перекладу, а також запропоновано шляхи вирішення проблем, пов’язаних із адаптацією запозичень. Матеріалами дослідження стали словники, технічна література та інструкції, що стосуються розробки інтернет-сайтів. Зібрано й опрацьовано понад 200 термінологічних одиниць. Наукова новизна полягає в аналізі впливу англомовних запозичень на формування української ІТ-термінології. Практичне значення результатів включає їх використання у викладанні курсів із лексикології, стилістики та перекладознавства, а також у створенні навчальних матеріалів і спеціалізованих словників.; EN: The master's thesis "Developing Competence in Translating Modern IT Terms from English to Ukrainian" examines the structural, semantic, and translational features of English IT terms. The relevance of this study is determined by the rapid development of information technology, the lack of a unified terminology, and the necessity to adapt English terms to the Ukrainian language. The study analyzes the current state of research on IT terminology translation, identifies the specific characteristics of IT terms, explores key methods and approaches to their translation, and proposes solutions to challenges related to adapting loanwords. The research materials include dictionaries, technical literature, and manuals related to website development. Over 200 terminological units were collected and analyzed. The scientific novelty lies in studying the impact of English loanwords on the formation of Ukrainian IT terminology. The practical value of the findings includes their application in teaching courses on lexicology, stylistics, and translation studies, as well as in creating educational materials and specialized dictionaries. 2024-01-01T00:00:00Z
