| Abstract: | On the basis of statistical data collected in the locomotive depot, a one-factor regression model was obtained, on the basis of which a short-term forecast of the failure rate of locomotives was made. The conclusion is made about the insufficient efficiency of predicting the reliability indicators of locomotives on the basis of one-factor regression and the expediency of using multifactor regression models with indicator variables for extrapolation. |
