UA: Розвиток економіки не можливий без добре розвинених пасажирських перевезень. Тому актуальність вдосконалення та розвитку пасажирських перевезень залізничним транспортом сприяє постійній зацікавленості з боку різних авторських колективів, науковців, які висвітлюють злободенні питання у цій галузі, а також найчастіше пропонують шляхи їх вирішення. У статті наведено аналіз деяких досліджень і публікацій в галузі пасажирських перевезень залізничним транспортом, визначено їх вплив на подальший розвиток системи пасажирських перевезень.

Providing quality public transport services is a complex process that should take into account the features of passenger services . Improvement of the process requires the timely identification of deficiencies of economic activity in the travel industry by continuously monitoring , research and analysis. Hence the relevance of the improvement and development of passenger rail transport contributes to the continued interest of the various groups of authors , scientists, covering topical issues in this area , and often offer solutions. Study and analysis of current problems in the field of passenger rail transport plays a significant role in improving the implementation of the economic development and competitiveness of rail transport. The article provides an analysis of several studies and publications in the field of passenger transport by rail , defined by their influence on the further development of passenger traffic.
