UA: Проектування та модернізація локомотивів щільно пов’язані з технічною експлуатацією рухомого складу. Розвиток глобалізації і тісна співпраця виробників локомотивів з компаніямиоператорами дає змогу підвищувати надійність рухомого складу на всіх етапах його життєвого циклу для забезпечення своєчасного виконання транспортних задач. З огляду на це вивчення світового досвіду дозволяє враховувати та прогнозувати результати запровадження тих чи інших рішень. У статті розглянуті особливості експлуатації тягового рухомого складу на магістральному залізничному транспорті країн Північної Америки.

EN: Design and modernization of locomotives are closely related to the technical operation of rolling stock.
