Abstract: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a common mental health disorder that occurs as a result of an individual’s inability to cope with trauma and its consequences. One of the factors that can lead to the development of PTSD is migration to another country, particularly when it is forced and caused by political crises or military conflicts. Given that forced migrants must not only overcome traumatic experiences (such as loss of home, exposure to war, political persecution, etc.) but also adapt to a new sociocultural environment, the organization of psychological assistance for forced migrants with PTSD symptoms is extremely important. Researchers emphasize that forced migrants «often experience multiple traumas, making them prone to mental health problems in the future».
