Abstract

The current development of wireless electronic communication systems and networks is characterized by a global trend toward higher-frequency bands, the introduction of cognitive capabilities, and a transition to systems in which constraints on power consumption and electromagnetic compatibility are critical. This has driven the development of ultrawideband access systems for low-power applications, a common feature of which is the possibility of using impulsive complex signals.
