UA: Інформаційні та керуючі системи, що використовують супутникові технології GPS, мають у наш час надзвичайно широке застосування в господарській діяльності. Провадження лінії інформаційного обміну між автоматизованим робочим місцем (АРМ) логіста та автоматизованою системою керування вантажними перевезеннями АСК ВП УЗ-Є надасть змогу оперативному працівнику контролювати переміщення вагонів, з можливими затримками і порушеннями, отримувати оперативну інформацію щодо транзитних та імпортних вагонопотоків. Встановлення GPS на вагони дасть можливість визначати точне місцезнаходження вантажів у режимі он-лайн.

EN: To perform the functions at the highest level, there is a need of modern technical equipment of stations, of the development and implementation of advanced technologies into operational activities. Formation and Control Systems GPS using satellite technology are nowadays widely used in business. This also applies to the design and implementation of such systems on rail transport. The production information exchange line between Logistics workstations (AWS) and freight transportation automated control system ASK EP will control the movement of cars, with possible delays and disorders, receive on-line information on transit and import car traffic. This implementation will reduce idle cars at border stations. Installation of GPS on cars will enable to determine the exact location of freight on real time on-line. Usage of geographic information systems will significantly extend the operational management possibilities and improve the quality of service.
