UA: Діагностування верхньої будови колії – це сукупність методів та засобів, що служать для аналізу його стану. Діагностику потрібно сприймати, як узагальнений систематизований метод визначення та прогнозування його стану. Головні характеристики колії як конструкції є міцність та надійність. Перший параметр визначає безпеку руху, другий – терміни безвідмовної роботи колії. Тому основними покажчиками надійності є інтенсивність відмов та параметри потоку відмов.

EN: Diagnosis of a superstructure is a set of methods and tools used for analysis of its condition. Diagnosis should be seen as a generalized and systematic method of identifying and predicting its condition. Main characteristics of the way, as construction is durability and reliability. The first parameter determines the safety of motion, the second - term of the uptime of the gauge. Therefore, the main pointers of reliability is the failure rate and flow settings failures.
