Казкова традиція у творчості В. Скотта та поетів-«лейкістів»

Abstract

UA: Однією із актуальних проблем сучасного літературознавства є осмислення художньої своєрідності національних варіантів романтизму, в тому числі британського романтизму кінця XVIII–початку XIX століть. Здобутки В. Скотта і поетів-«лейкістів», яких об’єднували схожі світоглядні позиції та напрямки естетичних пошуків, ще недостатньо повно висвітлені в науці, особливо в аспекті засвоєння народних традицій, що вплинули на картину світу британського романтизму на його ранньому етапі й зумовили подальші художні відкриття. У статі робиться спроба виявити вплив казкової традиції на формування романтичної естетики, жанрову систему і картину світу раннього британського романтизму.

EN: One of the pressing problems of modern literary criticism is the comprehension of the artistic identity of the national variants of romanticism, including British romanticism of the late XVIII–early XIX centuries. The accomplishments of W. Scott and the «lake» poets, who were united by similar philosophical positions and aesthetic research directions, are not yet fully covered in science, especially in the aspect of mastering folk traditions, infl uenced the picture of the world of British romanticism In some works devoted to W. Scott’s works and the «lake» poets (L. Fedorova, T. Lazareva, M. Ladilova and others), the presence of folklore elements in the works of authors is noted, however, the fabulous tradition in the poetry of early British romanticism was not the subject of special study. The article tries to identify the infl uence of the fabulous tradition on the formation of romantic aesthetics, the genre system and the picture of the world of early British romanticism at its early stage and led to further artistic discoveries.
