UA: В статті розглядаються фактори, що впливають на пускові характеристики дизельних двигунів, а також допоміжні пристрої для полегшення запуску дизеля. Виявлено недоліки системи пуску дизелів маневрових тепловозів, які негативно впливають на технічний стан акумуляторної батареї її термін служби та на технічний стан дизельгенераторної установки в цілому. Проведено розрахунок обертаючого моменту, необхідного для подолання статичного моменту опору провертання колінчастого валу.

EN: The article examines the factors affecting the starting characteristics of diesel engines, and auxiliary devices to facilitate starting the engine. Identified deficiencies in the system start-up of diesel shunting locomotives, which have a negative effect on the technical condition of its battery life and on the technical condition of a diesel generator set as a whole. Imperfection systems start shunting locomotives mainly due to the use of outdated approaches and methods in their design and calculations. The above situation determines the relevance and importance of scientific research aimed at extending the life of batteries shunting locomotives by improving the system start-up. The calculation of the torque required to overcome the static load torque cranking.
