Method for evaluating the structural efficiency of unequal-energy complex signal ensembles in ultra-wideband code-division multiple access systems

Abstract

For equal-energy complex signal ensembles, it is appropriate to use, as the structural efficiency indicator, the product of the ensemble volume and the maximum cross-correlation value in the ensemble. For unequal-energy complex signal ensembles, an analogous form of the indicator is obtained through an equivalent transformation of such an ensemble into a conditional equal-energy ensemble while preserving the total signal energy.
