UA: Оптимізація планування роботи сортувальних станцій має вирішальне значення для безперебійної роботи залізничних систем. Воно передбачає координацію та організацію вантажних поїздів, вагонів і персоналу таким чином, щоб оптимізувати ресурси і мінімізувати непродуктивні затримки поїздів. Ефективність роботи сортувальних станцій має вирішальне значення, оскільки саме вони забезпечують безперебійне та швидке переміщення вантажів. Дослідження з даної тематики зосереджені на різних аспектах роботи сортувальних станцій, таких як оптимізація планування составоутворення, планування пропускної і переробної спроможності, складання розкладу відправлення поїздів з урахуванням наявності локомотивів і локомотивних бригад тощо.

EN: The efficiency of sorting station is crucial to ensure the smooth and fast transportation of freigts and to meet delivery deadlines. Delivery time, operating costs, utilization of the station's throughput and processing capacity, and customer satisfaction are some of the parameters that can be used to measure the efficiency of sorting stations. Studies have shown that optimization of train arrival and departure schedules, efficient use of infrastructure and personnel, reduction of operating costs, optimization of throughput and handling capacity, and improvement of factors such as meeting the technological time of wagons at the station, efficient use of locomotives and locomotive crews, and safety of trains and station personnel can significantly improve the efficiency of railway stations. Further research is needed to study the efficiency of railway stations in different conditions and regions.
